Acceler8 Talent is looking for a Lead RFIC Design Engineer to join a collaborative team based in Santa Barbara that is pioneering heterogeneous integration within the semiconductor industry. If reinventing RF communications excites you, then this role may be a great opportunity!
This role is with an innovative start-up based in Santa Barbara with remote opportunities. You will be working closely with the manufacturing team and other stakeholders to work in a hands-on environment where independent work and leadership skills are highly valued. You would lead and develop core products in the company's heterogeneous integration platform, using a combination of silicon and compound semiconductor devices, and help to develop high-performance circuits.
This role might be ideal for you if you have:
- Deep understanding of analog, radio-frequency, and millimeter-wave circuit design
- Deep understanding of radio-frequency design concepts (noise, linearity, mismatch, stability, etc.)
- Ability to design circuit blocks up to 100 GHz
- Background experience with mixed-signal circuit techniques in silicon CMOS
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADS and/or Cadence AWR environments
- Fluency with 2.5D/3D electromagnetic simulation (EMX, Momentum, Clarity, etc.)
- 5+ years of industry experience in the field of RFIC/mmWave IC design
- Experience designing circuits in a variety of compounds (e.g. Si/SiGe/GaN/GaAs/InP)
Familiarity with design automation software is a plus.
Base salary: $200,000 - $240,000
