We are seeking a Lead Architect to join an extremely well funded hardware start-up that is breaking the IO wall with a new class of fabric designed from the ground up for AI workloads in data centers.

Backed by the industries most successful semiconductor companies and VCs with a track record of successful exits, and led by networking veterans responsible for some of the world's most successful data center products, there couldn't be a better time to join them as they prepare to ship their first product in volume.

As the Lead Chip Architect, you'll report into the executive team and will help drive the silicon technology roadmap • You will manage and contribute to the ASIC and system architecture and development for our next generation product, including leading product definition and new technology innovations.

Required Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 15+ years of industry experience in comparable roles.
• Extensive experience in chip design, with hands-on RTL coding and deep involvement in verification plans.
• Strong understanding of networking SoC functions (Ethernet packet processing, congestion control) and host interfaces (PCIe, ccNUMA, NVLink/XGMI, CCIX, socket interfaces).
• Proven ability to drive results across teams, with expertise in software layers for high-performance networking and communication stacks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strategic planning, and consensus-building capabilities.
• Experience defining and delivering complex compute/networking SoCs from specification to market deployment. Strong architecture exploration, modeling, and trade-off analysis skills.
