Full Stack Software Engineer – Build Scalable Climate Tech Solutions
Are you a Full Stack Software Engineer passionate about building high-impact technology to fight climate change? Join our team to develop cutting-edge platforms that accelerate carbon removal at an unprecedented scale. We’re on a mission to stabilize Earth’s climate by leveraging Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) and need innovative engineers to help bring our vision to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and scale a robust MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) platform that powers global carbon removal efforts.
- Develop full-stack applications using React (Frontend) and Python/FastAPI (Backend) while contributing to technical infrastructure, including data pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Work closely with scientists, engineers, and deployment teams to translate real-world challenges into scalable digital solutions.
- Collect and integrate real-time user feedback from deployment operations, traveling to project locations (such as Brazil) as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in React, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven track record of shipping and scaling products, especially in startup or fast-moving environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to understanding end-user needs.
- Passion for climate tech and working at the intersection of software, science, and real-world deployment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in climate tech, carbon removal, or agriculture is a plus!
- Background in building applications used in the physical world (e.g., logistics, construction, aerospace).
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary teams in science-heavy fields.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Software Engineer to make a direct impact on climate change by building technology that scales. If you're ready to use your skills to drive meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you!
